Hello everyone and happy monday!
I spent one of my last weekends camping in the beautiful La Mauricie National Park. Disconnected from technology, I got to enjoy many outdoors activities always in contact with nature. Funny story, when I just immigrated to Canada I used to be very afraid of lakes because I couldn’t see what was in there… but now I love them so much that I try to do enjoy them as much as possible in summer time. Since we are already speaking about nature, welcome to today’s post.

Every day we are more aware of how our daily actions have a big impact in the environment. We are responsible on making small changes that will reduce negative repercussions to the ecosystem. We were gifted with many resources (water, air, land) but we need to learn how to use them without destroying them.
In my opinion, radical decisions aren’t the easiest but being aware and taking choices considering how our actions are going to affect the environment and how can we reduce this impact and create anything more sustainable that will contribute in the long-term, that’s the way.
Some ways to make this change is by creating a cycle in the use of products, an extreme choice like stop buying clothes can be rethought as supporting sustainable fashion, buying recycled or used clothing, exchanging clothes with your friends, restyle your old clothes and donating to people in need.
Big companies can also rethink the products conception with what’s has already been used. For example, recycle old wood and make wood chips products. Recycle plastic, fabric, construction materials, etc. Many other new strategies to make environmental changes a priority.
There are many ways to help, chose the ones you’re starting with. Thank you for reading. Please share the message and contribute to the world without judging others, we are all starting with small readjustments!
