Decorating with natural materials
Welcome to my blog in this snowy spring day! Today, my post is about designing with natural materials. By natural materials I mean rocks, bricks, wood, concrete, and others.

When we think about adding natural materials to a room, we normally think about just covering the floor with them. The thing is, that the walls and the ceiling are not only for wallpaper and paint. Adding textures to our wall (and/or ceiling) makes an elegant decor and adds value to our room.

On the walls, you can choose between covering the entire wall or just part of it, and leaving the surplus to the paint. The outcome is beautiful.

Natural materials or natural looking materials go with almost every color. They are like the black or white when we dress, so most of the time they should not interfere with the furniture existing (just be careful with mixing textures).

My favourite type of natural material is marble: Marble is an amazing shining stone that you can find in different colours. The most popular is the white marble and I’m looking forward to make a post dedicated to it.

I know decorating with natural materials can be very expensive. In the same way, there are multiple fake options which imites very well the look of most materials and are affordable.

I know is a small post for such a big topic, but I hope you have liked it and enjoy decorating from natural materials. Have a great day and stay warm!
